Millwall defender Darren Ward has signed a new three-year contract at the New Den.

The 31-year-old centre-half made 30 appearances after signing permanently from Wolves in the January transfer window following a successful loan spell.

Ward told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to be staying at Millwall for the next three years. I've played for four other clubs, but sometimes as a player you know where you belong and this is a club where I feel totally at home."
