NEWCASTLE PLAYERS FLY INTO TACKLES

And it’s going viral.

Take a look:

Brilliant. That’s exactly what you want to see from a side battling against relegation.

Shortly after that passage of play, Ayoze Perez doubled Newcastle’s lead.

Jamie Vardy may have pulled a goal back for the hosts but it was too little too late against such a stubborn defensive unit.

It’s that stubbornness that has seen Newcastle move clear of the relegation zone.

They’ve conceded just 41 goals - a massive 22 goals less than strugglers Stoke.

And Benitez believes his side are gaining Premier League experience every week.

“We had some games where we deserved something more," Benitez said after the match.

“But I have said sometimes before that this is a young team.

“It is a team of young players from the Championship, some of them without experience of the Premier League so it was a learning process.

“Little by little we are learning little things.”
