Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is becoming a popular man with Liverpool fans.Question marks were raised when Liverpool decided to pay Arsenal £35 million for his services last summer, but that fee is now looking like money well spent. The 24-year-old has not only impressed Liverpool fans on the pitch, but his actions off it has also earned praise. For example, after having possibly his best match in a Red shirt after Liverpool's 3-0 victory against Manchester City last week, Oxlade-Chamberlain remarked how he was still slightly disappointed with his performance."It was one of those nights where had I not scored I would have been disappointed in myself," He explained after the game.  "I could have been better on the ball and there are areas I need to improve on and can improve on."The goal makes it a little bit nicer to take and that was something great to take away but I have to set the bar high. I have to improve to get to where I want to get and to be as good as I hope to be so I keep working on it."What a great attitude.

OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN EARNS MORE PRAISE

Oxlade-Chamberlain followed up his good performance against Man City last week with another strong display in the return fixture at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night.

The former Southampton youngster started in midfield, and would play the full 90 minutes as Jurgen Klopp's side sealed their progression to the Champions League semi-finals with a 2-1 victory.

And what he did during his side's celebrations after the game went down very well with fans of the Merseyside club.

In the video below, Liverpool's players were making their way back to the dressing room after applauding the fans in the away section.

But Oxlade-Chamberlain did not join them.

Instead, the 24-year-old took his shirt off and made his way towards the Liverpool fans.

Stewards tried to stop him, but the Ox was determined to get across.

After making his way past the stewards, he then gave his shirt to a young fan, before hyping up the Liverpool fans one last time.

Liverpool's official Twitter account also captured Oxlade-Chamberlain's great gesture.

Class.

He is fast becoming a fan-favourite with the Liverpool faithful and it's easy to see why.

Liverpool fans could not get enough of his actions, with many taking to Twitter to praise him.
