Manchester City are now just two wins away from securing the Premier League title.

They've dominated English football this season and Pep Guardiola's side have been compared to some of the greatest ever.

However - they've been through hell this week and lost three games on the bounce - something that's been unheard of at the Etihad this year.

City have been dumped out of the Champions League after losing 5-1 on aggregate to Liverpool. They were beaten 3-0 in the first leg at Anfield last week and 2-1 at home on Tuesday.

In between those two fixtures, the blue half of Manchester had the chance to crown themselves as Champions of England in last weekend's derby with Manchester United.

Unfortunately for Guardiola's men, after going 2-0 up, Jose Mourinho's side completed one of the best comebacks in recent memory to win 3-2 and keep the champagne on ice.

And things don't get any easier for City as they travel to Wembley to face Tottenham this weekend - facing a team that's unbeaten in 14 league matches.

Despite a little bit of a rough patch, there's no denying that the Citizens have been the best team in England this year - and even though they were knocked out of the Champions League, they have been one of the best in Europe too.

Almost everyone is happy to admit that. But one man who's not having any of it is Usain Bolt. The former Olympic champion has recently claimed that City got "lucky" early on in the season and that's why they are so far ahead in the Premier League now.

Yes. He actually said that.

“I think Man City just had some good luck and they did extremely well,” Bolt argued, per 101GreatGoals

“But as you’ve seen we beat them the other day and now Liverpool beat them twice and knocked them out of the Champions League so it’s just one of those things.

“If you get lucky early in the season, they had a good run and it worked out."

Of course, Bolt is a well-known United fan, so it's fair to say his opinion could be a little bit biased.

What's incredible though, is that he seemingly can't even accept how good City have been this year.
