Ladies and gentleman, Tyson Fury is back.

The 29-year-old has signed with Frank Warren as he prepares to make his return to boxing on Saturday 9 June at the Manchester Arena.

Fury hasn't fought since November 2015, when he so famously beat Wladimir Klitschko at the Esprit Arena, Dusseldorf, to become world heavyweight champion.

It's been a tough journey ever since having been accused of doping and battling with depression, but following months of training he's fit and ready to make his comeback.

It was during Thursday's press conference that Fury's return was confirmed, with the Gypsy King's opening line short yet emphatic.

"The Mac is back and he's ready to take the world back," he said. "A lot of these guys are saying they're the best, but I know for a fact they're not."

Warren explained that Fury will need four fights before taking on Joshua or Wilder in a championship fight, which could take anywhere between one to two years.

FURY GUNNING FOR AJ AND WILDER

But it's very much clear Fury is working his way towards reclaiming his place as the king of the heavyweight division.

When asked about the prospect of facing AJ, he said he would outbox the reigning WBA, IBF and WBO champion in the opening rounds before knocking him out.

"He's a big old dosser, belt carrier for me," said Fury. "By the time I get ready to fight, it's going to be an easy fight. He's looking for one punch all night.

"I have a tip for him: 'Get a handful of rice and throw it on me.' Other than that he has no chance [of touching me]. He has no chance, he's not the biggest puncher in the world."

Fury was also asked for his verdict on Wilder, at which point he named who was the better boxer between the American and Joshua.

According to the 29-year-old, Wilder is currently No.1 in heavyweight boxing because he can land big punches from all kinds of angles, whereas Joshua doesn't have the agility.

"Deontay is top of the pile," Fury added. "He's dangerous until the last two seconds. He only needs one punch.

"Unlike AJ he has the agility to land punches from anywhere. They're all very vulnerable and beatable."

Another long road awaits Fury and it will be interesting to see what kind of shape he's really in come June 9 at the Manchester Arena.
