Jack Wilshere was in the heart of Arsenal's midfield as CSKA Moscow went 2-0 up in the second leg of their Europa League tie.Arsene Wenger's side eventually progressed to the semi-finals after winning 6-3 on aggregate - following a nervy 2-2 draw in Russia.Wilshere is still yet to sign a new contract in north London and will be able to leave as a free agent this summer.The injury-prone 26-year-old has re-established himself in the Arsenal first team this season and Arsene Wenger has publicly stated his desire to tie him down to a new contract."On my side nothing had changed,” said Wenger recently.“Jack will be free at the end of the season. I want him to stay and be linked to the club for the future and I hope he will do it.”However, Wilshere's recent performances have been disappointing and fans are no longer quite so desperate for him to stay.

With Granit Xhaka sidelined with flu on Thursday night, Wilshere started in midfield alongside Mohamed Elneny.

Wilshere won the hearts of the Arsenal supporters earlier this season but it's beginning to turn sour for the academy graduate.
Thanks to goals from Danny Welbeck and Aaron Ramsey, Arsenal recovered to draw 2-2 without Wilshere on the pitch.
The Gunners, lying sixth in the Premier League, need to win the Europa League in order to qualify for next season's Champions League.
