The always-controversial Tyson Fury announced his return to the ring at a press conference in London on Thursday, but seemed in no mood to talk about his previous transgressions - sensationally walking out on an interview with one of Britain's biggest broadcasters after just 32 seconds. The former undisputed world heavyweight champion is set to return to action on June 9 in Manchester against an as yet unnamed opponent. The 29-year-old has not fought in nearly two-and-a-half years, when he dethroned Wladimir Klitschko to lift all of the division's titles in Dusseldorf in November 2015. However, the Mancunian has been no stranger to the headlines during this period.A proposed rematch with Klitschko was twice postponed, with Fury being declared "medically unfit" to fight on the second occasion after he failed drug tests for both performance enhancing drugs and cocaine.Fury then relinquished his championships pending an investigation into the failed test - revealing that he had been battling depression since the biggest win of his career over Klitschko.Fury's boxing licence was subsequently suspended by the British Boxing Board of Control in October 2016, ahead of a inquiry by UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) into the drug test failures. The handling of Fury's case by UKAD became a lengthy debacle - and it was not until December 2017 that he became free to once again apply for his boxing licence.During his period outside the ring, Fury also made highly controversial comments regarding religion and homosexuality, amongst other sensitive subjects - and it was these statements that ITV News were keen to question Fury on following the announcement of his return."No comment," replied Fury as the interviewer brought up these issues, asking whether Fury felt he would need to do more to win over the public in light of his previous behaviour.

Fury also declined to speak about his issues with UKAD - as can be seen in the video above.

"I'm a boxer...I'm not interested in politics or anything else. Boxing only!" Fury stated, clearly agitated by the interviewer's line of questioning.

When this failed to change the direction of the interview, Fury turned to walk away from the camera and shouted "Terminated!"

The interview was barely 30 seconds old.

Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) has linked up with promoter Frank Warren to begin a comeback which he hopes will eventually lead to fights with current heavyweight champions Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua.

The opposition on June 9, however, is likely to be somewhat less decorated - with Warren admitting at Thursday's press conference that Fury was simply in need of rounds after such a long absence.

Whether Fury's stance to the media will soften as his comeback gathers pace remains to be seen.
