The Cleveland Cavaliers first-round playoff game will take place this Sunday against the Indiana Pacers, and the team's head coach Tyronn Lue aims to take full advantage of everything which he has at his disposal.

In the 2017 postseason, the Cavaliers coach played only eight players more than 15 minutes per game on average, but things are going to be a little bit different this year, as he has a completely healthy team since the overhaul of the roster at the trade deadline.

Lue stated recently when speaking to ESPN that he believes using their deep bench will be a strength in the postseason, and execute a 10-man rotation.

The Cavaliers head coach said: "You usually go nine. I think we've been nine in the past, but I think it's going to be important to go 10 for us."

That means there will be planned minutes for JR Smith, Larry Nance Jr., Jordan Clarkson and Jose Calderon off the bench, and either Rodney Hood or Kyle Korver may be in that bench group too. Either Hood or Korver will be added to the Cavs starters of LeBron James, Kevin Love, Jeff Green and George Hill.

Lue stated as well that he will continue to use Jordan Clarkson as the primary sixth man, who is the only rotation player on the roster that hasn't started a game since being traded to Cleveland by the Los Angeles Lakers.

He said: "I like Clarkson being on the floor with a point guard, so that makes us play 10. We just want to make sure that we have a point guard on the floor with him, knowing that Cory Joseph picks up full court and tries to disrupt the point guard on the opposing team. So, it's very important that we try to keep a point guard on the floor with him at all times."

We'll have to wait until Sunday to find out who will be starting for the Cavaliers in their first playoff game against the Pacers, but there's going to be an opportunity for all of their bench players to get an opportunity throughout the game.
