Bray Wyatt didn't have a match at this year's WrestleMania at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, but he was involved in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal, helping determine the outcome of the match, as well as possibly his own future in WWE in 2018.

When the Battle Royal was suddenly down to its last three participants of Matt Hardy, Baron Corbin, and Mojo Rawley, The Eater of Worlds suddenly appeared and helped his former rival in Hardy win the match, with the two embracing in a hug afterward to show their new friendship.

The following night on Monday Night Raw, the two confirmed their friendship in a backstage segment with Jeff Hardy, and the two could now be set to dominate the tag team division on either one of WWE's brands, or so it may seem.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, via NoDQ, the friendship between Hardy and Wyatt could soon be over, as WWE has another interesting booking plan in mind for The Eater of Worlds.

Meltzer states that while it remains to be seen whether this happens or not, there is an idea for WWE to turn Wyatt on Matt Hardy and then become the leader of the SAnitY group when they're called up to the main roster from NXT.

This would be an interesting booking direction for Wyatt, and certainly one that WWE should explore at some point, but it would also be great to see what the team of Wyatt and Hardy can do in the tag team division and if they are able to be a success before the team is separated.

For SAnitY to get a rub from The Eater of Worlds upon their arrival on the main roster would be great for their development, and they would most certainly become the most dominant faction in the WWE today.

What this means for SAnitY's current leader though in Erick Young remains to be seen. Perhaps he will be cast aside by the group in a similar fashion to how The Authors of Pain removed Paul Ellering as their manager this past week on Raw.

WWE 2K18: WrestleMania Edition is out now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
