Continuing our series of 2018 NBA Playoffs first round previews here at GiveMeSport. READ: Part 1 - After a franchise-best season, the Toronto Raptors should not be threatened by the Washington Wizards ____________________________ For a few weeks now, the Golden State Warriors have not been the Warriors that we have come to expect. Through injuries, they have not been able to. At one point, all members of the Big Four (Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green) were out injured at the same, and sixth man Andre Iguodala was not fairing much better. At one point, Kevon Looney was a go-to player, and Omri Casspi was playing 30 minutes in some games. This is the same Omri Casspi who, after being cut in the last few days of the regular season, is no longer with the team. The negative side effect from this injury spate was the loss of the #1 seed on which they had held a vice-like grip for the past three seasons. Curry is still not back, with the latest news on his injury being a return during the Conference Semi-Finals at best, should the Warriors get there without him. Had the Warriors had the relative good health of the Houston Rockets, perhaps they could have run them closer - as it is, they have yielded their supremacy to them, and by some margin.  But the positive side effect of it was the quick ascent in Curry's place of sophomore guard, Quinn Cook.
