Carlisle have completed the permanent signing of Millwall striker Jason Price.

The 33-year-old, who scored four goals in nine appearances for the Cumbrians during a two-month loan spell towards the end of last season, has signed a one-year contract.

United manager Greg Abbott said: "We've got a few young forwards at the club already so getting Jason on board brings us a bit of experience that those players can learn from.

"His record during his loan spell last season was excellent and Gary Madine certainly benefited from playing alongside him. His record at this level is very good and hopefully he can continue that with us next season."

Price began his professional career at Swansea in 1995 and his other previous clubs include Tranmere, Hull and Doncaster.
