Isco is a uniquely talented player. There is no doubt about that. But the Spaniard has had his issues at Real Madrid this season. With Los Blancos having a plethora of talent at their disposal, Isco has often found himself on the bench this campaign. And that has clearly got to the 25-year-old, who made some worrying comments about his situation at the club just last month."In Madrid I don't have the confidence a player needs," Isco said after scoring a hat-trick for Spain a few weeks ago. "The matches with the national team give me life. Here I have the confidence of the coach."I want to show that I'm a good player. Lopetegui shows me confidence with the minutes he gives me. Maybe I'm the problem in Madrid. I don't know how to win Zidane's confidence."

ISCO SCORES EXQUISITE FREE-KICK VS MALAGA

Isco has made three starts in four games since then, and he repaid Zinedine Zidane's faith in him by scoring an exquisite goal against his former side, Malaga.

Real Madrid won a free-kick 25 yards out from goal, and with Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale both off the field, Isco stepped up.

And the Spaniard would not disappoint as he struck a beautiful curler around the wall and into the corner of the net.

It was a terrific finish, but what happened after went down even better with football fans.

Isco did not celebrate the goal, instead apologising to the home fans in respect to his former side.

And despite watching their side concede, Malaga fans responded by applauding Isco.

It was a terrific display of class, both by Isco and the home crowd, and many football fans took to Twitter in recognition of the moment.

UNCERTAINTY OVER ISCO'S FUTURE

There was uncertainty over Isco's future after his comments whilst on international duty. A host of Premier League clubs, including Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham, are all reportedly interested in purchasing him this summer.

But Zidane has brushed off those reports, claiming that the midfielder will stay at the club beyond the summer.

"Maybe he has a different role with Spain to here, but he's important," the Frenchman said. "I've always felt he's important for this team and it's only natural a player wants to play more.

"I don't think I'm an unfair person. But my job is to pick 11 players. He is an important one and will be an important one, always. As I said, it comes down to interpretation, but I'm not upset at all with Isco.

"It's not his fault. Whenever he plays he works hard; gives 100 per cent - he kills himself. Sometimes things come off, sometimes they don't. I don't think there's an issue with Isco.

"I'm happy with him. There is no problem. I'm happy with his performances. Isco is a Real Madrid player and he'll remain here. That's it."
