Paris Saint-Germain wrapped up the Ligue 1 title after seeing off last year's champions, AS Monaco. The French club have been without star player Neymar since the end of February after he fractured a bone in his foot, but Unai Emery's side were still able to see off Monaco 7-1.The Parisians were 4-0 up after just 30 minutes after goals from Edinson Cavani and Angel Di Maria, as well as a brace from Giovani Lo Celso.Marcos Lopes cut the deficit to three just before half-time to give the away side hope, but they would concede three more second half goals to give PSG a resounding victory.Emery's side may have suffered the disappointment of being knocked out of the Champions League in the last-16 stage, but they have still managed to win Ligue 1 and the Coupe de la Ligue in convincing fashion.

NEYMAR WAS NOT AT THE GAME

Although Neymar still has around a month left on the sidelines, many would expect him to be present at the game where his side lifted the Ligue 1 title.

But that was not the case.

Instead, Neymar was at home, posting a photo on Instagram that had football fans talking.

The Brazilian maestro was watching the game, but most of his attention was being paid to an online poker game, with the PSG vs Monaco match on in the background.

How bizarre.

His post attracted much attention from Twitter users, with many baffled by the fact he chose to stay at home playing poker instead of joining in with his team's celebrations.

EMERY'S FUTURE AS UNCLEAR

Despite leading his side to domestic success, Emery's future as PSG boss is still up in the air.

But the 46-year-old claimed that the team will continue to progress, whether it be with or without him at the helm.

"When I analyse the situation, I think that to grow in Europe you must first do it in the French championship," Emery said after Sunday's win.

"Twenty years ago, if PSG won the championship it was something very big. Today it's important, but we must make room for the Champions League.

"The first objective is to grow in France and then grow in Europe.

"It's a very solid club with the idea of growing even bigger. I am very happy here with my individual project.

"The [club's] ambition, for me, is clear. The club must remain the strongest in France and continue to grow outside [of France].

"I believe in this project and the progress of this team, with or without me."
