Celtic dismantled a hapless Rangers in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The Gers went into the tie with a 13 point deficit in the Scottish Premiership, meaning their only chance of lifting silverware this season came in the shape of the Scottish Cup.
But they produced a dismal performance as they lost out 4-0 to their fierce rivals.
Tom Rogic gave the home side the lead after 22 minutes, and Callum McGregor netted 16 minutes later to give Celtic a two goal advantage at half-time.
Graeme Murty's side fell to 10 men just after half-time with Ross McCrorie being sent off, all but ending their hopes of producing a comeback.
Moussa Dembele and Olivier Ntcham then converted second half penalties to give their side a resounding victory.
ANDY HALLIDAY SUFFERED EMBARRASSMENT
Murty's decision to start Andy Halliday was a massive gamble, and he clearly regretted that decision after hooking him off after just 40 minutes.
That caused an angry reaction from Halliday, and he was consequently mocked by Celtic fans as a result.
Celtic fans were heard chanting his name, which only added to Halliday's embarrassment.
LEIGH GRIFFITHS REACTS TO CHANTS
A video has now emerged displaying Leigh Griffiths' reaction to Celtic fans mocking Halliday.
The 27-year-old clearly approved of the chants made by the Celtic crowd, with the video capturing Griffiths hysterically laughing at his rivals' misfortune. Patrick Roberts can also be seen displaying his approval.
Halliday would not have liked that.
But his reaction to the crowd's chants went down very well with Celtic fans on Twitter.
GRIFFITHS SHOWBOATS DURING DERBY
The Scottish striker would later come off the bench in the 79th minute, and he immediately took to showboating with his side enjoying a comfortable lead.
Just minutes after coming on Celtic were awarded a corner. Griffiths retrieved the ball and showed off some nifty skills, which no doubt would have also gone down well with the home crowd.
GRIFFITHS WANTS TO RAP UP TITLE ON THE WEEKEND
Celtic travel to Hibs on Saturday knowing a win would guarantee them the title and Griffiths is determined to deliver for his side.
“We want to go to Easter Road now and finish the league off,” said the striker. “These have been really tough games for us this season against Hibs and they’ll make it hard for us.
“There is nothing in my mind other than three points. Like everyone in the dressing room I want to go out and win it as quickly as we can. If we win it we are champions and that is what we want.
“We want it on Saturday. There’s no way we would voluntarily delay getting the title.
"Everybody knows I am a Hibs fan but I play for Celtic and I want that league wrapped up as soon as possible. It would be perfect to go and get the goals to take me to the 100-mark at the same time."
