Huddersfield's latest signing Ian Bennett expects his new club to be challenging for promotion next season.
The 38-year-old did not hesitate to join the ambitious League One side following his release from Sheffield United despite knowing he has been brought in as back up for first-choice goalkeeper Alex Smithies.
Bennett told the club's official website: "I jumped at the chance to join the club. I'm coming towards the end of my career now, but and I could have gone to any club and allowed my time to drift away, but I wanted to find somewhere that matched my ambitions and Huddersfield does just that."
He added: "Having spoken to the chief executive and the manager it's obvious that everyone at the club is focussed on gaining promotion and I think the squad will be more than capable. I want to play a part in that."
