Inter Milan are not the team they used to be.Throughout the latter half of the 2000s, they were bordering on unstoppable. From 2006-2010, Inter won five consecutive Serie A titles. They also were able to add a Champions League triumph to their list of honours in 2010 under Jose Mourinho. But the club have failed to add to that success ever since the Portuguese manager left in 2010.AC Milan managed to win the title the year after, and now Juventus have well and truly taken the mantle as Italy's leading club.Inter, on the other hand, have been in decline. I Nerazzurri have failed to qualify for the Champions League since the 2010–11 season, and they even missed out on a Europa League berth for this campaign. They have enjoyed a mini revival this term as they are currently positioned in 5th in Serie A, just one point away from the Champions League places.

WHAT INTER HAVE DONE BEFORE CAGLIARI GAME

Due to being in contention for a Champions League spot, tonight's game against Cagliari is an extremely important one.

But what the club have done before the game is completely baffling.

Inter have decided to use 'special jerseys' for the clash at the San Siro, and will use them during their warm-up prior to the game.

The club have printed the players' Instagram handles on the back of the shirts, instead of the players' actual last names.

Yes, you read that right. The club even posted on Twitter the proof.

Absolutely unbelievable. The footballing world has gone mad. They will not use them in the actual game, but the fact they will use them at all is embarrassing enough.

Manchester City have raised eyebrows with some of the antics they have got up to in recent weeks, including an embarrassing title celebrating video they made with sponsors, Etisalat UAE.

But this decision by Inter may well have topped that.

Of course, the post has already attracted a lot of attention from social media users, and understandably, it has not gone down well at all.
