Alberto Moreno has had a frustrating season at Liverpool. The Spaniard has come under-fire at the club since signing in 2014, with numerous defensive mistakes littering his game.He started the season as Liverpool's starting left-back, but he has since lost his starting berth to Andy Robertson.Although Moreno has struggled for minutes this season, Jurgen Klopp defended the 25-year-old in February, claiming the treatment he received from fans was unfair.“The way people talk about Alberto Moreno, I hope it has settled a little bit but it was never fair, that’s just how it is,” he told Liverpool.com.“If you see Alberto Moreno training, there’s nobody in the squad has a shadow of a doubt about him quality-wise.“He’s an unbelievably strong player and he didn’t deliver all the time, that’s true, but at the beginning of the season he was so strong for us.

MORENO PRODUCES OUTRAGEOUS SKILL IN TRAINING

Klopp has noted his quality in training, and now Liverpool's official Twitter account has posted a video which expresses the talent he has at his disposal.

Sadio Mane, Virgil van Dijk and Moreno are spotted well behind the corner flag trying to curl the ball onto the pitch and into the goal.

Van Dijk and Mane both fail, with Van Dijk's effort hitting the bar and Mane's crashing into the side netting.

And then steps up Moreno.

The Spaniard showed an unbelievable bit of skill by producing a rabona, with the ball curling perfectly into the net.

Moreno then posted the video onto his own account, alongside the caption: "Sorry guys @VirgilvDijk #sadiomane @LFC".

Who knew Moreno had that in the locker!?

The defender has only played three minutes in the Premier League since the end of November, but he is clearly showing signs of quality in training.

Liverpool fans were also quick to express their amazement on Twitter, with many praising Moreno for the piece of skill.

KLOPP HINTS HE WANTS MORENO TO STAY

Although he has fallen out with Klopp, the German has hinted he wants Moreno to stay at the club beyond this summer.

“Obviously, life as a football player is not always fair, but in that time if we would have played Robbo instead of him - no chance to convince anybody, he was not ready for that," Klopp stated.

“We are already convinced when we sign the player; ‘Come in, we want you to make us stronger, if immediately, good, if not, then we have to work for it’.

“That’s why we have more than 11 players and, thank God, in the moment Alberto got the injury, Robbo stepped up. It was lucky to be honest, it was exactly the right timing.

“Now Alberto has to fight, no doubt about that, but we need two left-backs, we cannot go into the season with one.”
