By the end of this month, The Undertaker would have already wrestled two times in 2018, and this might not be the end of The Deadman's in-ring appearances in the WWE this year.

We've already seen The Undertaker wrestle once this year, as he had an impromptu match against John Cena at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans earlier this month, and he'll have another match in the WWE before the month is out.

Next Friday, The Deadman will take on Rusev in a Casket match at the Greatest Royal Rumble event at the King Abdullah International Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This will be the second consecutive year which he has wrestled twice or more after having two matches in 2017.

According to a report by PWStream, even more matches could be on the horizon for The Undertaker in 2018.

PWStream has stated that there is hope backstage in the WWE that The Phenom will be willing to wrestle more frequently, potentially up to four or five times this year, which would be an incredible sight for all WWE fans at this stage of The Undertaker's career.

As previously mentioned, The Undertaker wrestled twice in 2017, in the Royal Rumble match and against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33. However, he hasn't competed for WWE more than twice in a year for WWE since 2015, when he wrestled a staggering seven times.

If this report is true and there are more planned matches for The Deadman later this year, it will be interesting to find out who he could be competing against. An obvious opponent for him would be Cena, since the two have already competed against one another at WrestleMania 34, but many WWE fans weren't happy with how the match unfolded and the build before it.

If he is only to wrestle a few more times in 2018, WWE may save his appearances for the bigger shows, meaning, following the Greatest Royal Rumble, fans may be waiting for SummerSlam and Survivor Series later this year to see The Phenom compete in the ring once more.

Considering The Undertaker is now 53, this may well be his swansong year in the WWE, so hopefully, the company gives him a fantastic feud so that he can end his career on a high.
