Samoa Joe may have moved from Monday Night Raw to SmackDown Live this week after the Superstar Shake-up, but that doesn't mean his feud with Roman Reigns has been put on hold. The Destroyer and The Big Dog are set to go face-to-face in the main event of Backlash on May 6, the first co-branded Backlash pay-per-view in the WWE since 2009. It is widely expected to be a one-and-done match between the two due to Joe's new SmackDown status. However, this hasn't stopped the two from going at one another on Twitter this week to hype up their upcoming match next month.Joe tweeted a photo of himself on a plane on his way to South Africa, where he is scheduled to take on some of Raw's top stars at the live events despite now being on SmackDown. Reigns was quick to respond and he issued a taunt to The Destroyer. The Big Dog said: "Long way to go to get your ass whooped..."Joe wasn't going to take this taunt lying down, as he said in his reply: "Those twitter muscles your flexin while I’m on the other side of the planet are going to get you snatched up by that pawnshop rope you been rockin lately . #BelieveThat"

Let's see if Reigns decides to wear his necklace again next week on Raw, or if Joe has got the better of him here!

It will be interesting to see how this rivalry plays out between now and the Backlash pay-per-view next month since both superstars are now on separate brands following Joe's switch to SmackDown, and how each superstar will promote it without another face-to-face confrontation until the show itself.

There's a possibility the Universal Championship could be added to this match since Reigns is scheduled to face the current Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at the Greatest Royal Rumble next Friday at the King Abdullah International Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

If The Big Dog wins this match and subsequently the Universal title, there's a chance the Universal title could be added to his Backlash match against The Destroyer to make it a sweeter contest for fans to enjoy.
