Gavin McCallum has left Hereford and signed a two-year deal with League Two rivals Lincoln.

The 22-year-old winger made his international debut for Canada last month and scored with a header in a friendly against Venezuela. He managed eight goals in 29 appearances for the Bulls last season, including a double against the Imps.

The news comes as a real blow to Hereford but Lincoln manager Chris Sutton expressed his delight at the signing. He said: "There was a queue of clubs wanting him, so we are pleased to have got this done. He is someone I am really excited to have signed - he will be a real crowd pleaser."
