Manchester City may have won the Premier League in extraordinary fashion this season, but their achievement pales in comparison to Leicester City's triumph two years ago.

Leicester began the 2015/16 campaign as 5000/1 outsiders to claim the title having finished 14th the previous season.

No one in their right mind would have seriously predicted the trophy going to the King Power Stadium - but that's exactly what happened.

Under the guidance of Claudio Ranieri - who was infamously sacked the following year - Leicester made history by somehow beating England's giants to the crown.

Just three defeats all season saw the Foxes finish on 81 points, 10 above of second-placed Arsenal and a staggering 15 ahead of both Manchester clubs.

Solid in defence and lethal on the counter-attack, Leicester won games by staying compact at the back and breaking with speed through Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez.

It's no exaggeration that a lot of Leicester's goal came from Danny Drinkwater picking up possession in midfield and playing Vardy over the top for a one-on-one finish.

THE WINNING FORMULA

Vardy was unstoppable that season, as was Mahrez, and between them they scored 41 of their side's 68 Premier League goals, not to mention 18 assists combined.

Leicester also shipped the second-lowest amount of goals (36) and that was largely because of the towering centre-back duo of Wesley Morgan and Robert Huth.

What Morgan and Huth lacked in pace they made up for in experience and sheer brute force - they were impregnable at times.

But while Morgan remains Leicester's captain and the focal point of their defence, Huth seems to have completely disappeared recently and hasn't been seen in nine months.

Huth's last appearance for the Foxes came last May during a 3-0 win over Watford - so where the hell is he nowadays?

Safe to say it's been a pretty tough year for the 33-year-old, who missed the end of last season with a foot injury, had ankle surgery over the summer and then re-injured his foot again.

Huth returned to full fitness in January, but it's been three months since then and he still hasn't made his first appearance for Leicester this season - in any competition.

Instead, the German has been playing for the club's under-21 and under-23 sides, fallen to bottom of the pecking order and is now expected to leave at the end of the season.

From a man mountain during Leicester's title-winning campaign to being completely forgotten about, you can't help but feel sorry for Huth and his decline over the past two years.
