It's been a very good couple of days for Chelsea as they secured important away victories over Southampton and Burnley in the Premier League.Just a week ago it seemed the Blues' season was over, given they were 10 points behind Tottenham in fourth and struggling for results. But having taken maximum points from their last two games, they're now only five behind and in with a chance of Champions League football for next season.Chelsea were solid against Burnley on Thursday night as an own goal from Kevin Long and Victor Moses' 69th-minute strike saw out a 2-1 win.It was a dominant display from Antonio Conte's men, who lined up with two strikers for the first time this season in an unorthodox 3-4-1-2 formation.Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata hadn't started together since the former's arrival from Arsenal in January but they seemed to click in the opening 45 minutes. If one of them dropped deep to link up play, the other would look to make runs in behind Burnley's defence from any flick-ons or through balls.

MORATA FRUSTRATED... AGAIN

It was Morata who had the better chances of the two but, typical of his form this season, he was unable to capitalise and had yet another frustrating game.

His best chance came in the second period, when N'Golo Kante put him clean through one-on-one with Burnley's Nick Pope.

It was the kind of opportunity most world-class strikers would gobble up, yet Morata never looked overly composed and fired wide of the post, much to the amusement of Burnley's home fans.

Thirteen minutes later the Spaniard was replaced by Conte and his reaction to being subbed said it all about how frustrated he was.

In the videos below, Morata can be seen speaking under his breath before shouting something at the Burnley fans. He then sits down and starts throwing things in anger.

Not a happy bunny. Morata was clearly very angry and what he tweeted after the game about his behaviour was genuinely superb.

In the tweet below, the 25-year-old apologised for reacting so badly and put it down to being disappointed in himself for failing.

We've all been there. Morata has the stature, mentality and ability to be a success at Chelsea and over time he will undoubtedly realise that potential.

And by the looks of it, playing alongside Giroud may be the key. They linked up very well together and could be a strike partnership worth exploring further for Conte.
