Considering he only joined Manchester United two years ago, you could forgive Paul Pogba for wondering why Jose Mourinho already wants to sell him this summer. But according to the Daily Mail, that's going to be the case if the France international doesn't add some consistency to his performances.World class one week and poor the next, you never know what Pogba is going to turn up in games and that's become a real concern at the Theatre of Dreams.Take the recent 3-2 win over Manchester City. Pogba scored two fantastic goals at the Etihad as United came from 2-0 down to seal all three points.Pogba orchestrated the comeback, there are no two ways about it, but eight days later the 25-year-old was terrible as United lost at home to relegation-threatened West Brom. How does that happen? And just to make things even more confusing, Pogba produced a stellar performance during the 2-0 Bournemouth win on Wednesday, notching his 10th assist of the season.

MOURINHO'S POGBA HEADACHE

Mourinho was certainly impressed, although he did mention his dour display against West Brom: "I agree that it wasn't a good performance at all, with that I agree.

"[But against Bournemouth], top performance. Top performance. Obviously the performance against City was special, coming with two goals.

"But this performance was a very similar level. So top performance. He can do it."

Everyone knows how good Pogba could be, even Mourinho, but at 25 years of age he needs to start delivering the goods week in week out.

Otherwise he'll be sold this summer and the Daily Mail claim that United have decided how much they want for him should Mourinho cash in.

Brace yourselves. United are reportedly going to demand up to £140 million for Pogba so they make a profit on their initial investment.

Any club interested in Pogba will have to fork out between £120-140 million, which is pretty astounding considering he hasn't improved much over the past two years.

Sure, Pogba has talent and age on his side, but is that really enough to justify £140 million? Football fans certainly don't think so, as you can see in the reaction below.

TWITTER CAN'T BELIEVE IT

The transfer market has inflated considerably since United signed Pogba for £89 million in 2016, but asking for £50 million more is very bold.

Only the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Barcelona can afford that price tag, so it will be interesting to see how United's valuation is received across Europe.
