Chelsea's Champions League hopes might be slim, but they are still alive after the 2-1 win at Burnley.Spurs' 1-1 draw with Brighton on Tuesday, together with the fact that the north Londoners don't play again in the league until Monday April 30, means the Blues could soon cut the gap to just two points.Kevin Long's own goal handed the visitors the lead, but a somewhat flukey Ashley Barnes equaliser threatened to make things difficult for them.Man of the match Victor Moses deservedly got the winner to ensure Antonio Conte's men put back-to-back league victories on the board for the first time this calendar year. The starting line-up had raised eyebrows, notably the inclusions of Tiemoue Bakayoko and Emerson Palmieri, while misfiring Alvaro Morata also had another night to forget. However, one man who did seem to benefit from the system was Pedro. It's difficult to know what to make of the 30-year-old's season. While he's started just 16 league games this term and hasn't been in the best form of late, Conte seemed to allow him greater freedom at Turf Moor and it paid off.He made plenty of decent runs at the Clarets' defence and produced one moment Ronaldinho would have been proud of:

Chelsea fans, unsurprisingly, were loving it:

On his day, the Spanish international undoubtedly has something special in his locker - it's just a question of whether he can produce that form consistently enough.

Perhaps if he continues in a free role and is able to move around and create as he was on Thursday night, Conte may be onto something.

Chelsea's hopes are alive

It remains to be seen whether he'll keep his place for the FA Cup semi-final against Southampton.

Chelsea's win in Lancashire was no mean feat considering Burnley have the joint-third best defence in the league.

"It's not simple to play against Burnley this season but we put pressure on every moment of the game with our strikers," Conte said afterwards, per Sky Sports.

"I am very pleased to see this performance but for the whole team. We showed great spirit and great enthusiasm, Burnley are having a fantastic season.

"To come here and win this way, without conceding chances is good. We have to continue in this way and try to finish the season as strong as possible."
