Manchester United are on their way to Wembley once again.

Jose Mourinho's side delivered one of their finest performances of the season in the FA Cup semi-final, beating Tottenham 2-1.

The Red Devils showed brilliant determination to bounce back after Dele Alli had given Spurs the lead after just 11 minutes.

Paul Pogba appeared to be turning in yet another dreadful performance, but the Frenchman suddenly came alive to deliver a sumptuous assist for Alexis Sanchez and he continued to shine for the rest of the match.

Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Ander Herrera were all immense, but it was Sanchez who earned most of the plaudits.

The Chilean turned up when it mattered most after an underwhelming start to his United career, with his equaliser changing the game.

His inclusion from the start was not exactly met with much positivity, but throughout the match, United fans finally began to realise something about their January signing.

They now understand why Mourinho has been starting him over fan favourite Anthony Martial in the big games.

UNITED FANS REACT

It appears to be an emphatic response from the United fan base, one which will certainly please the club's recruitment staff after they were questioned for bringing in Sanchez.

The Chilean is an invaluable asset, which he highlighted with his outstanding second-half display in the 3-2 comeback vs Manchester City.

For the second time, Sanchez and Paul Pogba appeared to be on the same wavelength and if Mourinho can establish some chemistry between the pair consistently, good times beckon for England's most successful club.
