Roma are certainly the surprise package of 2017/18's Champions League.
Monaco last season were the underdogs everyone was talking about, but the Italian capital club have arguably outdone the Ligue 1 side.
Their comeback from three goals down against Barcelona was truly outstanding and people forget they also topped a group containing Atletico Madrid and Chelsea.
Beating Shakhtar Donetsk over two legs was no easy feat either.
Liverpool will face a tough task against the Serie A side and it could have been even more difficult if they hadn't sold some of their best players. Just for fun, we've decided not to include Mohamed Salah in this XI.
GK - ALLISON BECKER
He's now one of the best in the world and no Roma keeper in recent memory is dethroning the remarkable Brazilian.
RB - ALESSANDRO FLORENZI
The winger-turned-defender is a cult hero in Rome and on his day, he's one of the best attack-minded right-backs in the game.
CB - MEHDI BENATIA
His stint at Bayern Munich was unsuccessful, but Benatia is rediscovering the form he showed at Roma with Juventus. The Moroccan reads the game so well and would easily slot back into the current side.
CB - MARQUINHOS
The Brazilian made his name at Roma and has developed even more at PSG. Neither Federico Fazio or Kostas Manolas would stop him starting if he decided to return.
LB - EMERSON PALMIERI
Aleksandar Kolarov may have started ahead of him prior to his January move to Chelsea, but that was only because of injury. Before that, Emerson was arguably the finest left-back in Italy and Roma may regret offloading him in the near future.
CM - MIRALEM PJANIC
Few players perform the deep-lying playmaker role as well as the Bosnian. His sale to Juve was hard to take for the fans, especially given how he's got even better in Turin.
CM - DANIELE DE ROSSI
A true club legend and one who is still performing to a ridiculously high standard. One of Serie A's greatest.
RW - ERIK LAMELA
With Salah not being included, Tottenham's fiery Argentine makes the cut. Prior to his move to England, Lamela really was hot property and he probably wouldn't mind coming back to Italy after an indifferent time in England.
CAM - RADJA NAINGGOLAN
To put it simply, the Belgian is one of the best box-to-box midfielders in world football. The fact that he hasn't had to be sold yet by Roma is virtually a miracle.
LW - IAGO FALQUE
An odd choice? Perhaps, but the stats speak for themselves, with the Spaniard scoring 11 times and recording eight assists in Serie A with Torino this season, way more than the likes of Diego Perotti, Stephan El Shaaraway and Cengiz Under. You may remember his name from Tottenham.
ST - EDIN DZEKO
Probably the best striker Roma have had for some time, just ask Barcelona...
