Braun Strowman's rise to the top of WWE has been meteoric.

He's gone from a member of the Wyatt Family to a main event superstar in less than two years - and he's had some pretty big moments along the way.

Following the 2016 draft, he was split from Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan, beginning a huge singles career.

Strowman went on a long undefeated run, before having a number of shots at the Universal Championship, against the likes of Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.

Although his attempts were ultimately unsuccessful, "The Monster Amongst Men" has been at the top of the Raw card ever since - and even had a huge moment at WrestleMania 34.

To book his place at "The Show of Shows", Strowman won a tag team battle royal to become the number one contender to take on The Bar for their Raw titles.

The only problem was though, that he wasn't in a tag team. However, he promised General Manager Kurt Angle that he would find a partner so he could take on Sheamus and Cesaro for their belts.

And he did just that. In the penultimate match at WrestleMania, Strowman paired up with 10-year-old Nicholas, a member of the WWE Universe.

Of course, Nicholas didn't actually wrestle himself - but Braun showed his dominance by defeating The Bar single-handedly, winning his first title with WWE.

Strowman's come a very long way - and according to the man himself, Vince McMahon has been by his side every step of the journey.

Speaking to the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast, he revealed the boss has been very "hands on" with his character development, leading to a huge push.

"Vince McMahon is a genius and he has been hands on with the development of Braun Strowman and all of the stunts that we do and the segments, and it's working," he said, per Wrestling Inc

"There is no 'ifs,' 'ands' or 'buts.' Every big stunt that you have seen, he [McMahon] has been there."

Interestingly, Strowman went on to say that WWE have even had to go to great lengths to keep McMahon out of certain segments because he's been making "accidental Stan Lee" appearances.

"It's funny, because a couple of times we have had to edit him out because he'd make the accidental Stan Lee appearance in the thing, and you see him stepping out."

Amazing. WWE have actually had to edit Vince out of certain shots because he's apparently always on hand to make sure things are going in the right direction.

It's things like this that prove just how much McMahon cares about his wrestlers and his business - and his attitude should certainly be admired.
