Braun Strowman is one of WWE's top Superstars and is currently not involved in any major storylines as Roman Reigns occupies the Universal Title picture.

Strowman has experienced a steady build up to main event status and has shared the ring against the likes of Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, John Cena, and more. One key angle that occurred several months ago was Strowman going absolutely ballistic on everyone.

This led to General Manager Kurt Angle firing Strowman. The following week, however, Commissioner Stephanie McMahon reinstated Strowman and countered Angle's call.

McMahon and Angle have bumped heads on several occasions over their time together on RAW, as Stephanie seems hell-bent on making the Hall Of Famer's live a living hell.

The storyline involving Strowman being reinstated by McMahon was mentioned by Dave Meltzer recently on Wrestling Observer Radio, noting that it was never revisited.

It's also interested to note that McMahon hired Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn despite Kurt Angle's wishes. Several months ago Owens head-butted Stephanie's father, Vince McMahon, and bloodied him.

Why would Stephanie hire Owens after what he did to her father? Meltzer had this to say on the whole debacle (quotes via Ringside News):

“It’s like what’s the reason she would bring them in? Other than she thinks that they’re really talented, okay.

"She wants to make Kurt’s life [miserable] you know it’s like Kurt… you know it’s like isn’t Vince more important than Kurt?”

“So yeah, I guess it’s that they just don’t have an answer to that question. We were never told [why Stephanie McMahon brought back Braun Strowman] yeah they never… but there’s no point now because it doesn’t matter everyone’s forgotten.”

WWE has been very vague when it comes to McMahon reinstating talents that Angle doesn't want on RAW. Owens, Zayn, Strowman - none of them make sense from storyline perspective.

These are some key holes in a big plot that are leaving some wrestling fans scratching their heads.

What are your thoughts on Strowman's storyline with Kurt Angle and Vince McMahon being essentially forgotten? What angle do you think WWE could've taken with it? And do you think a World Title is in The Monster Among Men's future? Let us know your thoughts on the matter in the comments section below!
