Anthony Joshua is a man in-demand at this moment in time.

Whether it is from media personalities wanting time with the world heavyweight champion, or if it is other boxers wanting to get in the ring and make money with him, he is possibly Britain's most wanted.

But, when it comes to his working out regime to get him in the best possible shape for a fight, his answer will probably surprise you in regards to what gets him sweaty.

It isn't weight-lifting, cardio, or an intense sparring session that provides the champion with results, but it is a simple case of stretching the body that gives Joshua an idea of how his exercises have been going.

"There are so many ways to get results, but I think stretching, because stretching has longevity, you can get an actual sweat on, a workout out of it, and you can see results," AJ told Marie Claire.

"You can actually gauge results which is always good for someone who’s new to working out, or if you’re result-driven.

"I think that’s always good to see when you’re training."

With the potential of a summer fight for Joshua, he will need to keep focused on a potential training camp in the near future.

Promotor Eddie Hearn this week will travel to New York City to hold discussions with Al Haymon and Shelly Finkel, the two advisors for WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, to try and create a super-fight to unify the division.

Hearn and his Matchroom Boxing company have reportedly offered the undefeated Wilder £8.8million to make the fight happen, but with a recent counter-offer reportedly on the table, the English mogul will travel stateside to try and push through the fight.

AJ has also been ordered into a mandatory defence of his IBF title against Alexander Povetkin, who viciously knocked out David Price in Cardiff before Joshua defeated Joseph Parker on the same night. Joshua, though, has made it clear that Wilder is his number one target.
