There is no doubt that Braun Strowman has become one of the most popular stars in the WWE today.

The Monster Among Men has gone from a Wyatt Family bystander that was obviously green to one of the most exciting members of the Raw roster.

Vince McMahon has really gotten behind the former Strongman contestant and Strowman has had several notable and memorable spots on the show over the past year.

He seems primed to win the Univeral title sooner or later and he's seamlessly moved from dominant heel to lovable babyface in the same vein the WWE must wish Roman Reigns could.

However, one man who played a big part in Strowman's growth in and out of the ring was the legendary Big Show.

The two men broke cages and rings together and put on some epic encounters, but Strowman has revealed the tough love that the seven-time world champion has given him backstage.

"It's humbling, it really is. The big matches I had against The Big Show last year in an almost passing of the torch with that, and him taking me under my wing. We have a joke where I call The Big Show my 'Wrestling Dad,' because he treats me like a son. When I do something dumb he whacks me over the head and tells me not to do it again," Strowman said via WrestlingInc.

"Same thing with Undertaker and Kane; where, with Kane, I have been almost working with him for an entire year on the house shows and just listening to these guys stories and things they have done. These guys have done everything there is to do within this industry, and they are a fountain of knowledge, so anything I can do to pick their brains and talk, and put a match together with, they are special because I know there will come a day when it'll be my job to do the same with other talents coming in."

So, Big Show gives Strowman a wack if he makes a mistake! Considering that Strowman is around 6'8", it would take a legitimate seven-footer to clip him around the ear.

Having said that, Brock Lesnar is 6'3" and he had no problem giving Strowman a stiff shot when he messed up at the Royal Rumble earlier this year.
