Everyone in boxing is happy to see Tyson Fury back in the sport.

His comeback is now less than two months away with the 'Gypsy King' poised to step between the ropes on June 9 in front of a packed Manchester Arena. Fury's opponent hasn't been named yet, but fans are almost certain he'll be given a journeyman to help him get back into the swing of things.

The end goal that everybody wants, however, is a mega-money fight with Anthony Joshua.

While the bout is unlikely to happen over the next 12 months, it would look to shatter British pay-per-view records and sell out Wembley Stadium at the very least.

It would pit the lineal champion against, potentially, the undisputed champion, Frank Warren against Eddie Hearn and even Sky Sports against BT Sport.

Fury opens on texts to Joshua

There's nobody who wouldn't want to see the fight happen and in an interview with iFL TV, Fury has revealed that he has been in contact with Joshua only recently.

The pair have been chatting over text and even FaceTime ahead of Fury's comeback.

Are they goading each other? Winding each other up for their fight? Starting negotiations?

Joshua has asked Fury for boxing tips

No. As it turns out, the pair have been exchanging advice to one another and Joshua even messaged Fury asking for boxing tips. Yes, really.

The 'Gypsy King' revealed: “I’ve been taking tips from AJ, he’s been messaging me on FaceTime and all that, telling me how to bulk up and what weights to lift.

“I’ve been taking advice and giving him advice on boxing because obviously, he knows how to bulk up and get in shape but he doesn’t really know about boxing – he said it in his interview didn’t he?

“He said he wants to learn so I said ‘hit me up’ and he hit me up and that was it.

“I’ve been giving him good advice about slipping and moving and sliding shots, how to take a shot and roll it and then slip and come back.

“Genuinely. It’s alright about being tough and strong, getting forwards and smashing people but, as you saw against Joseph Parker, if you can’t do the sweet science, you can’t set those big shots up.

“I was giving him a few pointers on how to feint, shoulder roll and come back with shots. Just basic sweet science stuff really that takes a little bit of learning.

“It comes over a period of time, years and years of being in the gym around boxing.

“In exchange, I’m getting advice on nutrition and how to bulk up a bit and how to look better in myself.”

Fair play, fair play.

Joshua is arguably the best fighter in the heavyweight division, but there's definitely room for improving his boxing skills. He showed great promise in the Joseph Parker bout yet could take tips from the best 'boxer' of recent years.

But, will Fury regret passing on those tips later down the line?
