Are Formula One fans finally getting used to the Halo protective device?
It was one of the hot topics leading up to the 2018 season when it was announced that the safety device would be fixed around each driver's cockpit of their cars.
Opinions and reviews came flooding in that questioned the integrity and value of the Halo product, among frustrated drivers and fans of the sport alike.
It is a device which has ultimately divided Formula One, with those in favour keen to express its positives, while critics have questioned what it brings to protection.
It has, however, won over some fans of the sport who have taken an interest in the Halo designs, which have allowed drivers to customise their device in order to stand out from the crowd on the track.
Fans have flocked to social media in praise of some of the designs that have been on show through televised coverage of recent races.
Although the Halo may look ugly in real life, they are now looking pretty snazzy on your TV screens, with the coverage showing the speed in which the driver is going and the gear they are in.
It all looks pretty modern, and fans of the sport are absolutely loving it.
Twitter user Olly Whitman posted a photo that first alerted people to the designs on the Halo protection device.
He wrote: "That's what I'm talking about!! Inspired AR graphics around the Halo on #C4F1 coverage today. #greatdesign"
Andrew McGregor also echoed the same feelings.
He said: "Don't care how you feel about the halo, those new graphics are cool. #F1 #AzerbaijanGP."
Another fan wrote: "The graphics on the halo are just next level 👌."
