Shaquem Griffin's remarkable journey to the NFL got it's perfect ending, Sunday. The inspirational one-handed linebacker was selected with the 141st overall pick of the 2018 NFL draft by the Seattle Seahawks, meaning he'll once again link up with his twin brother, Shaquill. The brothers have played together at every level of football, from Lakewood High School in Florida to starring at UCF, and now they'll become just the fourth set of twins to play for the same NFL team. Here's the incredible moment Shaquem got the call from Seahawks GM John Schneider that made his dream come true.

Surrounded by his family, the emotion was understandably too great to hold back. Griffin has overcome unimaginable adversity to reach the NFL having had his left hand amputated at the age of four, and said he was 'lost for words' when he got the call.

"That was the phone call I was waiting my entire life," Griffin said. "I literally broke down after that. I couldn't breathe. I didn't know how to talk, I mean, I was just lost for words."

The 22-year-old's story blew up after he put on an astonishing combine workout, blazing to a 4.38 forty time and pushing a remarkable 20 reps on the bench press despite having to use a prosthetic just to participate in the event.

Since the, he's been the talk of the league, and the outpouring of support from the entire NFL and wider sporting community after he was drafted was amazing to see.

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson led the reaction, and there was also a message of support from former MLB pitcher Jim Abbott, who was born without a right hand.

Future Hall of Fame pass rusher DeMarcus Ware and Jaguars All Pro DE Calais Campbell also chimed in...

Griffin is appreciative of all the support, but said he's not interested in being remembered just as a feel-good story, he wants to make a real impact on the field.

"I don't want to be a guy who's just a feel-good story," he told reporters in Dallas. "I want to be a football player, and a good one at that."

Meanwhile Shaquill, a cornerback who was drafted by the Seahawks in the third round of the 2017 draft, said he made sure to keep his brother's name fresh in the minds of the front office guys' minds throughout the draft process. A tactic which clearly paid off!

"I made sure I kept his name fresh in that building," Shaquill said. "So every day I made sure to mention my brother about something, even was just, 'hey, man, my brother got a good workout in, his backpedal is looking smooth every day.' ... And they continued throughout this whole process to let me know how much they loved my brother, how much they loved my family.

"I'm glad they made this happen," the elder of the twins continued. "It's a dream come true, not just being drafted, but being with my family and bringing my brother back home."

The moment the brothers took to the stage together was special, and the entire NFL community will be pulling for Shaquem to have a long, successful career.
