WWE always goes all-out when it’s WrestleMania, and this year was no different where they put on an absolutely stacked card for the lucky fans in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Although there have been some slightly negative reviews of the event, the show certainly went down as a massive success by featuring the likes of Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka - which was the match of the night in many fans’ eyes - while Ronda Rousey had arguably the greatest debut in history.

ENTRANCES

One of the aspects in which the company puts a lot of focus in are the many elaborate entrances in. Usually, we have the same suspects such as Triple H getting the amazing and unforgettable entrances. This year, though, we had the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura, Charlotte and even The Bar getting the same treatment.

Another entrance which the fans loved was Finn Balor's, who came up short in his attempt to dethrone The Miz as the Intercontinental Champion in a contest which was won by Seth Rollins.

The ‘Balor Club for Everyone’ entrance saw the Irishman representing the LGBTQ community by introducing rainbow-coloured shirts, while donning a special leather jacket during his entrance inside of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

During his entrance, Balor was flanked by members of New Orleans’ LGBTQ community wearing Balor’s GLAAD-benefiting t-shirt, which has been accepted by a lot of fans, but one former WWE superstar is unhappy about it all.

He doesn’t have an issue with the entrance itself, but the fact that he wasn’t invited.

HEARTBROKEN

Darren Young was the first openly gay superstar in history and in an interview with UPROXX, the former Nexus member admitted he was upset at the fact that the WWE didn’t invite him to be a part of that entrance.

According to Ringside News, he said: “It is what it is, but I cried like a baby, man.

“The next day, Monday, after watching it back, I cried like a baby. When I got released, it’s okay. It is what it is, but when I’ve seen that and I wasn’t invited just to sit in the crowd and see the moves that we’re making, it broke my heart. They know that. They know that, but hey, it is what it is. Life goes on.

“Finn’s a great guy. But to not be invited to such an amazing celebration amongst the LGBT community, it just broke my heart. Even to be on the stage with everyone - like rah, rah, rah. I don’t care. I just want to be able to experience it. It means the world to me.”

You can understand why this would upset Young, as he’d want to be featured in the big strides the company is taking after coming out some years ago while the WWE does regularly bring back former superstars at big events like WrestleMania.
