CHELSEA ARE SET TO STRENGTHEN IN THE SUMMER

Uncertainty lingers over who will be the manager of Chelsea next season, but one thing is for sure: Roman Abramovich is still going to splash the cash.

An area that needs to be improved is the front three.

Alvaro Morata has been underwhelming in his first season in west London, whereas Eden Hazard leaving for Real Madrid also looks a distinct possibility. Pedro has also been criticised by fans across the season.

With those problems in mind, Abramovich is set to spend big on attacking players.

And according to the Guardian, one player of which the club are monitoring is none other than Manchester United's winger, Anthony Martial.

The Frenchman has been linked with a number of clubs after growing frustrated with the amount of minutes he enjoys at his current club.

And it is believed that Chelsea are monitoring the situation, and will make a move' 'if the striker agitates for a transfer from Old Trafford this summer.'

Chelsea will undoubtedly face competition, however. Juventus are also being linked with the 22-year-old, and the report claims they are prepared to pay £45 million for his services.

Martial's talent is so clear to see.

He is highly regarded by fans at Manchester United, and many cannot understand why Jose Mourinho refuses to give him more playing time.

And it seems that the prospect of signing Martial has also gone down well with Chelsea fans, with many on Twitter urging Abramovich to make a move.
