It's fair to say not many fans are enjoying Brock Lesnar's year-plus reign as Universal champion. The Beast Incarnate won Raw's top strap at WrestleMania 33 when he defeated Goldberg in Orlando.Since then, names like Samoa Joe, Roman Reigns - several times - and Braun Strowman have tried and failed to take the belt off the former UFC heavyweight champion. Most fans believed that Roman Reigns would walk out of WrestleMania 34 with the belt in a passing of the torch moment. Lesnar was quite open about his desire to have one final crack at the UFC, but Lesnar shocked the world to defeat the Big Dog.Lesnar repeated the feat - albeit via controversial circumstances - at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia and it has left many fans wondering exactly how long the 40-year-old is going to hang around.According to Cageside Seats, Lesnar's next outing will be at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view in June, six days after Lesnar would have eclipsed CM Punk's record as the longest reigning world champion in the WWE during the modern era.Fans won't be happy with Lesnar securing the record by default, especially when you consider he has only defended the title six times during his reign while Punk racked up 22 defences, not including house shows.Speaking before WrestleMania, Lesnar's longtime advocate Paul Heyman suggested that Lesnar has his heart set on a return to the octagon.

"It’s most likely the answer to that is yes. The reasons are rather public. Brock is eyeballing a return to the octagon. He’s made no secret about it. He’s out in Las Vegas at the UFC offices taking a selfie with Dana White wearing a UFC T-shirt. These are not secret negotiations.

"The fact that both our contracts are coming due is not a secret, either. Is this the last time that Brock Lesnar goes out to the ring in WWE, I truly don’t know that answer because what we’re focused on at the moment is … Brock is very laser-focused on the task at hand. That’s always been his way, since he grew up on a dairy farm in Webster, South Dakota as a kid."
