WWE fans picked up on Cesaro’s tremendous sell on SmackDown Live. By watching it, this just shows people how not to sell a pro wrestling move.

Before he signed with WWE, Cesaro was previously known for his work in Ring of Honor (ROH), Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) and Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), and the Japan-based Pro Wrestling Noah.

The Superstar made his WWE television debut on April 20, 2012, episode of SmackDown by appearing in a backstage segment with Aksana and Theodore Long.

Cesaro has also had success as a singles wrestler, having won the WWE's United States Championship and the inaugural André the Giant Memorial Trophy at WrestleMania 30 along with numerous independent singles titles, such as the PWG World Championship.

He went from being a singles competitor to a tag team performer with Sheamus.

If you recall, they were in the middle of a best-of-7 series of matches against one another when then-Raw General Manager and WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley put them together as a tag team.

Sheamus and Cesaro have went on to be very successful, winning the Raw Tag Team Championships 4 times so far.

On the November 6 episode of Raw last year in Manchester, England, Cesaro and Sheamus defeated Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins following a distraction from their former rivals The New Day to win their record-tying third Raw Tag Team Championship. This also marked Cesaro’s record-tying fourth individual reign.

As seen on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Montreal, QC at the Bell Centre on the USA Network, Sheamus took on Xavier Woods in a singles match.

During the match, Woods connected with a drop kick to Cesaro and he sold it comically, as seen here.

Just last month, The Bar was moved from WWE’s flagship show, Monday Night Raw, to SmackDown Live.

As seen at last Friday’s WWE Greatest Royal Rumble pay-per-view event on the WWE Network in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at the King Abdullah International Stadium, Sheamus and Cesaro lost to Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt for the vacant Raw Tag Team Titles.

It will be interesting to see where Cesaro and Sheamus go from here. The sports entertainment company could always book a match that would see Cesaro and Sheamus challenge Luke Harper and Erick Rowan for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles down the road.

However, it does appear that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and other members of the creative team for the sports entertainment company have their sights set on The Bar feuding with The New day on the blue brand.

What are your thoughts on Cesaro’s great sell of this move on the blue brand? Have YOUR say in the comments section below and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
