There could be on exciting talent headed to the sports entertainment company.

It seems like every few months that WWE has been announcing that they’ve signed a new talent from the independent wrestling scene.

WWE has announced the signings of names like former Ring of Honor World Champion Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Bobby Fish, Donovan Dijak, Lio Rush and Shayna Baszler last year.

For some background on this exciting talent, he currently works for EVOLVE, which has a relationship with the WWE as they send their talents to work under the NXT banner from some time.

He has worked for such promotions as Beyond Wrestling, All American Wrestling (AAW), Inspire Pro Wrestling, and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG).

At 6 ft 3 in and weighing in at over 300 pounds, Lee is just a talent that could be a major star in the WWE.

Now, let’s get to the interesting stuff. Pro Wrestling Guerrilla has announced that their May 25th event in Reseda, California will be Keith Lee’s farewell to the promotion.

If you recall, just a few months ago, there were reports that stated WWE was interested in signing Lee and placing him in their NXT brand.

Now, the speculation is that he is expected to be announced as signing shortly. PWG sent out the following tweet to hype the upcoming event:

“In just five minutes, tickets to Keith Lee's farewell event, Bask in His Glory, go on sale! Get yours at http://bit.ly/PWGtix at 8PM!”

"For me, this story is not an average story, like 'I saw a particular wrestler that inspired me,' or anything of that sort," Lee recalled, during a recent interview with ESPN.com. "As a young kid in my family, my grandmother was kind of the catalyst for my interest in wrestling, because she loved it so much. A lot of my cousins and stuff, we would wrestle when we were young."

"First of all, I'll say that for me personally, I feel like the things I do can be considered impressive regardless of my size, to be honest," said Lee. "I've always been an athlete. I've always loved the more athletic-style approach to things."

"I dealt with that, and I came back [to try out with WWE] another time," recalled Lee. "I didn't get signed again.

I was actually pretty ready to hang it up with wrestling, because between the atmosphere of Texas and then not being signed ... really, all I knew was WWE. I didn't experience other things very much, because of my solitude."
