Tony Bellew stole the headlines earlier today during his final press conference with David Haye ahead of their long-awaited rematch this Saturday at the O2 Arena.Bellew and Haye were speaking to the press for the final time before Saturday, when it was time for the traditional face-off in front of the cameras. What occurred afterwards was Bellew pushing Haye aggressively away from him, which resulted in security guards getting involved and separating the two heavyweights. The Liverpudlian cruiserweight champ explained to the media in the aftermath why he pushed David Haye in the throat. And, unsurprisingly, his reaction was rather jokey, saying he felt Haye was about to kiss him."It was just a little push and shove. He just wanted to get closer.“We came close to kissing, but it’s not that kind of party and I had to remove him from my space.“The mask comes off on Saturday. I’ve never tried to get under his skin. It doesn’t matter if he loves or detests me.“I don’t know why he wanted to get that close to me.”He also joked: “I don’t think he fancies me in all honesty, why would he fancy a man more ugly than you.”The Hayemaker remained adamant that the Bomber's head games have had no affect on him whatsoever.“I think the pressure has got to him. Bellew’s been trying to win me up and get to me but he can’t.“He knows he hasn’t got a reaction from me and is trying to push it out of me. It was a weak move.”The Londoner has certainly adopted a more measured and respectful approach this time around as he attempts to revive his career in this Saturday’s rematch. The ever confident Bellew spoke to Sky Sports regarding his chances in the upcoming bout, and said: “He looks good, his team are confident, like last time, but we will see. I just want to punch him.“We are going to go and Haye will have to do things he doesn’t want to do. I will do anything to win and you will see. There’s going to be no rematch this time, your career is over. What matters is that you lend on Saturday night.”It is abundantly clear that both fighters have supreme confidence in their ability to win the bout.

Health and age are certainly on the Liverpudlian’s side as he looks to KO the Hayemaker with superior quickness, agility, and evasiveness.

Haye, on the other hand, will look to land a “money shot” and with his weight and reach advantage, he will certainly be dangerous in the early rounds. 14 months in the making, the rematch we all wanted is finally here.
