After a heavy game one loss to the Houston Rockets, the Utah Jazz bounced back impressively to claim a 116-107 victory in game two to even the series.Having stolen home-court advantage, the Jazz will now head to Salt Lake City with two games on their home floor where they're unbeaten so far in the playoffs.Their hero on the night was Joe Ingles as he posted a career-high 27 points to lead Utah. The Aussie was unconscious from three-point range as he drilled 7-of-9 from beyond the arc. This proved to be a historic mark as his seven makes set a franchise playoff record.“I try to be aggressive every game, but I wanted to get going," Ingles said, per Fox Sports.“I thought our team could use that, so I tried to be aggressive. Got lucky on some shots falling early and we were able to hold out for the rest of the game.”

Utah enjoyed balanced scoring throughout their team as six players finished in double figures but head coach Quin Snyder singled out Ingles for praise.

"Every time Joe has needed to step up his game, he has been able to," Snyder said, per ESPN. "He's committed to that. He knew tonight he would need to make some shots and he was able to do it."

Ingles was so hot from three-point territory that teammate Donovan Mitchell celebrated one of his shots before it even went in after providing him with an assist.

His hot shooting performance shouldn't come as a huge surprise as he proved himself to be a prolific marksman from downtown during the regular season.

The 30-year-old shot 44 percent over the 82 games, ranking him fifth in the league in three-point field goal percentage behind Klay Thompson, Otto Porter, Reggie Bullock, and Darren Collison.

The small forward's 204 triples is the highest total he's had during his four years in the NBA.

Ingles has become a valuable weapon for the Jazz this campaign and has continued that form into the postseason.

He was influential in their first-round win over the Oklahoma City Thunder and has now made people stand up and take notice with the best game of his career against the number one-seeded Rockets.

Utah will now have an opportunity to cause a real upset heading back home in front of their boisterous crowd for Friday night's game three.
