The WWE is so much more than just a professional wrestling juggernaut, but they're one of the leading companies in entertainment alone.

WWE has traveled across the world for the past several decades entertaining fans and building up pa fanbase unlike any other. Of course, the United States gets the majority of the shows since that's where the promotion is based out of.

It's no doubt, however, that the most rowdy crowds are those outside the states as they don't get the shows as often.

One of the best crowds the WWE always enjoys putting on shows for is in the U.K. Just last year WWE made history when they traveled to Manchester and put on a taped episode of SmackDown Live.

AJ Styles wound up defeating Jinder Mahal to win the WWE Title and the crowd went absolutely insane. Styles became the first man in history to win the WWE Title overseas.

While the U.K. crowd loves having WWE events in the form of RAW and SmackDown Live, they would really enjoy having a pay-per-view (PPV) event take place there soon.

This is something English fans have been calling for for quite some time, and Triple H wants fans to know they're being heard.

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, Triple H addressed the possibility of WWE bringing a PPV to the U.K. (quotes via NoDQ.com):

“You guys are obsessed with that! And you should be. This is an open opportunity for all the markets outside of (the US) The time frame for when we run things in the US doesn’t work for a lot of places in the world.

"This opens up a lot of opportunities to put things in a localized time format for the wrestling globe – especially the UK where the desire’s very high.

"Getting things down to work in a reasonable manner with a reasonable cost, in a reasonable time slot is really what it’s all about to us but it is definitely something we’re working towards.

When people say, 'I don’t understand, just do the show.' We run 560 live events a year, we do an average of 9-10 live events a week.

"They are planned out a year or sometimes longer in advance.

"Putting those pieces together, one change dramatically affects the entire puzzle so it’s just a process that we’re going through but absolutely we will get there, it’s just, I’m sure for everyone that’s waiting, it seems to be forever, but we’ll get there.

"It’s not a matter of IF we can overcome the obstacles, it’s a matter of when and getting them all lined up.”
