Didier Drogba is a name that will live long in the hearts of Chelsea fans the world over. The beligerent Ivorian set England alight during his time in Chelsea blue, proving time and time again why he was considered one of the most destructive strikers in Europe.Terrifyingly strong, nearly unstoppable in the air and all while boasting a rocket of a shot, Drogba was a defender’s worst nightmare.Drogba is responsible for many a fond Chelsea memory having scored some absolute worldies for the West London club, but he will perhaps be best remembered for his performance in the 2012 Champions League final. Drogba single handledly dragged Chelsea back into the scrap with a towering header late on, before coolly slotting the winning penalty in the shootout.Having originally left the club in the aftermath of that dramatic final in Munich, Drogba returned in biblical fashion for one more season with his beloved club, before crossing the Atlantic to play out the final days of his career in the United States.Drogba, having enjoyed a couple of successful seasons with Montreal Impact, now plies his trade for Major League Soccer team Phoenix Rising, a club at which he is also the co-owner.At 40-years-old he continues to defy the norms by continuing to play, albeit with a lot less hair now.Drogba was in action again last night for his team against Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s LA Galaxy when his antics caught in the build up to a corner caught the eye of the fans and commentators alike.Drogba approached a young fan who was sitting pitchside, grabbed the fans water, and took a large sip, before saying something to the bewildered boy.He then turned around and delivered a devilish ball that was headed home for the Phoenix equaliser.

What is in the water indeed.

It was later confirmed that Drogba had told the young man that there was a goal coming from the corner and it was duly delivered.

Perhaps Didier has a career as a psychic waiting for him when he finally hangs up his boots.
