British boxer Dereck Chisora has revealed that he is ready to fight fellow countyman Dillian Whyte for just £1, but on one condition.

Chirosa, who made his professional boxing debut in 2007, has suffered eight defeats in 36 bouts in his over a decade-long career.

During this time, he also registered 28 wins, out of which, he won 20 via knockouts.

In his last fight, the 34-year-old knocked out France’s Zakaria Azzouzi in March earlier this year.

On the other hand, Whyte has suffered only one defeat in 24 bouts, and has won 17 of out the 23 through knocking out the opponent.

Chirosa held the World Boxing Association (WBA) International, World Boxing Organization (WBO) International, European, British, and Commonwealth heavyweight titles from 2010 to 2014, so he's enjoyed his fair share of success throughout his career.

However, one red mark next to his name that annoys him more than most is that loss to Whyte back in 2016.

Whyte won that fight via split decision back in December of 2016, but many fans felt that the fight should have resulted in a draw, or even a win to Chisora.

In a recent video which was published on YouTube via iFL TV, Chisora, while talking to boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, said that he will fight with Jamaican-born boxer Whyte for just £1, but only if he then got Anthony Joshua if he were to be successful.

“Eddie please give me something,” Chirosa can be seen asking to Hearn.

“You know that I did one pound deal. Give me anybody, anybody you say. Just call me and say ‘that’s the figure and there is your fighter’, or else, give me Dillian Whyte. I will fight Whyte for one pound.”

Hearn in response to that, asked him what he is expecting if he wins the fight, and Chisora responded by saying: “If I win, I will get one pound and give me my little brother, AJ (Anthony Joshua).”

Hearn can be seen saying before in the video that he would like Chisora to fight American boxers Jarrell Miller or Andy Ruiz or Poland’s Adam Kownacki.
