Despite only joining WWE back in 2015, Samoa Joe has been a staple in the professional wrestling world for quite some time.
Joe has been wrestling since 1999 and has done work for some of the biggest promotions across the globe; including Ultimate Pro Wrestling (UPW), Pro Wrestling Zero-One, Ring Of Honor (ROH), TNA, AAA, and so many more.
It was in TNA (now IMPACT Wrestling) that Joe made a name for himself, establishing himself as one of the company's top stars as well as one of the best the entire professional wrestling industry had to offer.
His legendary feuds against the likes of AJ Styles, Bobby Lashley, Magnus, and Kurt Angle are some of the greatest in IMPACT's history.
Back in 2015, however, Joe took the next step in his professional wrestling career by signing with WWE. He was directed to their developmental territory in NXT where he was immediately one of the show's top stars and soon captured the NXT Championship.
Joe put on amazing feuds against the likes of fellow indy darlings Shinsuke Nakamura and Finn Balor (formerly known as Prince Devitt).
Since making his main roster debut last year, Joe has feuded against the likes of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. He was recently moved over to SmackDown Live by way of the Superstar Shake-Up.
Joe still has some RAW obligations to fulfill at this weekend's Backlash pay-per-view (PPV) event when he takes on Roman Reigns, but after that he's fully dedicated to taking over Tuesday nights.
In fact, on the most recent episode of SmackDown Joe announced his intentions to go after the winner of tomorrow's WWE Title match between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura - two stars WWE fans would love to see Joe work with.
The Destroyer recently did an interview with Yahoo Sport ahead of his clash with Reigns at Backlash, and discussed all the possible match-ups awaiting him on SmackDown Live.
Joe listed out a number of stars he intends to work with, all of whom are big fan favorites (quotes via Wrestling Inc.):
"You look up and down that roster and it's a laundry list of a lot big-time matchups and a lot of first-time matchups.
"It starts with A.J. Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura. Then it's Randy Orton, it's Rusev. I'll fight both of The Bludgeon Brothers at the same time.
"You look at that locker room and you'd be hard pressed to find a match you wouldn't want to see me in."
