The entire sporting world is wishing Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson a speedy recovery.Late Saturday night, news surfaced that the Scot had been rushed to hospital to have emergency surgery on a brain haemorrhage.United released a statement shortly after the reports came out to confirm that Ferguson's surgery was indeed a success, before demanding privacy for him and his family.They posted: "Sir Alex Ferguson has undergone surgery today for a brain haemorrhage. The procedure has gone very well but he needs a period of intensive care to aid his recovery. His family request privacy in this matter."Everyone at Manchester United sends our very best wishes."We will keep Sir Alex and his loved ones in our thoughts during this time, and we are united in our wish to see him make a comfortable, speedy recovery."The news came out just a short while before Tony Bellew's rematch with David Haye at the O2, with the Bomber defeating the Hayemaker courtesy of a fifth round TKO.And in classy fashion, Bellew took to his personal Twitter account this morning to send his well wishes to Fergie, rather than discuss the bout.
