Two of the biggest male superstars joined a former NXT Women's Champion in qualifying for June's Money In The Bank Ladder Matches.

Firstly, Braun Strowman defeated Kevin Owens in singles action before Ember Moon was able to pin Ruby Riott in a triple-threat match that also included Sasha Banks.

In the main event, former Universal Champion Finn Balor booked his place in Rosemont, Illinois after winning the main event containing Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns.

BRAUN STROWMAN VS. KEVIN OWENS

Kurt Angle opened the show, explaining that over the course of the next couple of weeks we will be treated to qualifying matches to enter the Money In The Bank Ladder Matches. He was interrupted swiftly by Greatest Royal Rumble winner Braun Strowman, who was looking to find a way to enter the match. Kevin Owens then appeared, claiming that he is still being treated unfairly by management.

Kurt Angle made the matchup there and then, with The Monster Among Men steamrolling through Owens - sending him flying with multiple tackles and finishing the Canadian off with his signature Running Powerslam.

It is great that every superstar seems to sell so well for Strowman, this match was booked to perfection as Owens took so much damage. As well as this, Strowman can legitimately fly around the outside the ring like a professional runner.

Rating - 9/10

Owens did get a little bit of offence in to make him seem like a threat at times but really there was only one outcome in this match. Strowman continues to look super-human and as long as he does, the fans will be delighted.

NO WAY JOSE AND TITUS WORLDWIDE VS. THE REVIVAL AND BARON CORBIN

In what was a random combination of superstars, No Way Jose joined Titus Worldwide to face The Revival and Baron Corbin. Of course, No Way Jose began his trek to the ring with his line of dancers in a manner that is slightly more entertaining than how Adam Rose used to do it.

The Lone Wolf won the short matchup for his team with The End of Days on WWE's Dominican conga fanatic.

Rating - 5/10

Not much to add on this match, although it has slightly halted the momentum of a new WWE superstar. Baron Corbin needs to pick up wins though, hopefully, he will be able to win a spot in the Money In The Bank match.

EMBER MOON VS. SASHA BANKS VS. RUBY RIOTT

The War Goddess Ember Moon has yet to be defeated on Raw and she picked up her biggest victory by pinning the in-form Ruby Riott. A beautiful Eclipse stunned both Riott and Sasha Banks; Moon proceeded to cover the leader of the Riott Squad and in turn became the first women confirmed for the 8-person match.

It has to be noted, Riott looked brilliant in this match. Every move she performed was on the money and she cemented herself as a top performer on Raw. In an interesting turn of events later on in the match, Bayley came to the aid of Sasha Banks during the course of the match as Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan began a beatdown on the boss.

Rating - 8/10

A very good match for a television episode of Raw. Fans will be looking to see more from these three women in the future, especially Ember Moon and Ruby Riott as they looked to have brilliant chemistry inside the ropes.

BOBBY LASHLEY'S INTERVIEW

In a pre-recorded segment, Bobby Lashley sat down with Renee Young in an overly cringey segment where we learned more about the real Lashley.

Despite being a former amateur wrestler and mixed martial artist, we learned about The Dominator's love for his sisters. It felt very forced and not genuine at all, although I'm sure Lashley does love his sisters.

Rating - 4/10

Instead of learning about the real Bobby Lashley, as promised, we learned about one small aspect of his home life. It felt like a babyface interview pushed to the limit and it wouldn't surprise me if it is the start of a new side to Bobby Lashley's persona.

JINDER MAHAL VS. CHAD GABLE

In a rematch from last week's episode of Raw, Jinder Mahal was able to gain revenge over the former Smackdown Tag Champion with a pinfall victory.

Gable proved how good of a worker he is again, hitting his whole move-set extremely smoothly. And, as an added bonus, Mahal actually managed to connect with Gable's Moonsault unlike he did with Jeff Hardy's Whisper in the Wind!

After a short back and forth, Mahal pinned Gable convincingly after laying his out with a devastating Khallas.

Rating - 5/10

The match was not given enough time to fully develop but it told us more about Chad Gable than it did about eventual winner Jinder Mahal. Gable's work was solid and this could be the beginning of a brilliant run for the former Olympian.

HEATH SLATER AND RHYNO VS. DREW MCINTYRE AND DOLPH ZIGGLER

Heath Slater and Rhyno were fed to another new team this week, facing off against The Showoff and Heath Slater's former 3MB bandmate. It was the same old story for Heath Slater, who did get a good crowd reaction as they chanted 'He's Got Kids!' for a moment.

The most entertaining part of the segment was hearing McIntyre's bagpipes before the graining record scratch led into Dolph's catchy entrance theme; from then on, it was all business.

The deadly combination of the Claymore and ZigZag meant it was an easy win for Ziggler and his new Scottish pal.

Rating: 5/10

Another throwaway segment as I'm sure the production team looked to fill time. Ziggler and McIntyre are a very deadly team and should be in serious contention for the Tag Team Championships soon.

ELIAS VS. BOBBY ROODE

Elias began to bless the New Jersey crowd with his original music before he was interrupted by The Glorious One.

They put on another good match, although it does feel as though Roode is slightly missing something in regards to his character. A good babyface but maybe a better heel, as he was in NXT.

A Glorious DDT was enough to finish off Elias but this feud seems far from over.

Rating - 6/10

Elias always has entertaining segments and his songs make everyone watching chuckle. You cannot help but chant along with Elias' catchphrases. Roode is slightly boring as a babyface currently, however that can change over time or WWE Creative can make the decision to turn him heel. Both are solid in-ring performers and watching their matches are easy on the eyes.

SETH ROLLINS VS. MOJO RAWLEY

Current Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins once again issued an open challenge for anybody in the locker room to try and take his title. This decision was made after Rollins once again made subtle digs at Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, who hasn't featured on Raw since before WrestleMania.

His call was answered by new Raw superstar Mojo Rawley to a chorus of boos, as the former partner of hometown hero Zack Ryder. Rawley got in a fair amount of offence, including eating Mojo's facebuster finisher.

But The Kingslayer proved once more why he is the current MVP of Monday nights. It took a good, fluid combination of the Revolution Knee, Superkick and Stomp for Rollins to get the decisive pinfall.

Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel, now without a leader as The Miz is on Smackdown, got an opportunity to face the Raw Tag Team Champions Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt.

Rating - 7/10

At the moment, it's hard for Rollins to have a bad match. He has been on an absolute tear since the Gauntlet Match in February. Rawley provided a good opponent who was able to make Rollins look like the true champion he is. His athletic ability and work-rate is unmatched.

MATT HARDY AND BRAY WYATT VS. BO DALLAS AND CURTIS AXEL

Despite being brothers in real life, there was no brotherly love on show between Wyatt and Dallas as The Deleters of Worlds won in a couple of minutes.

Dallas and Axel, without the Miztourage label, have spent recent weeks trying to find a new leader to follow but they were unable to get a victory by themselves.

An assisted version of Sister Abigail gave the Raw Tag Team Champions an easy win.

Rating - 5/10

This seemed like an excuse to get the titleholders on TV. Shoved in before the main event, you could almost blink and miss the entire segment.

FINN BALOR VS. ROMAN REIGNS VS. SAMI ZAYN

Just after the top of the third hour of Raw, Finn Balor was able to pin Sami Zayn thanks to a big assist from Jinder Mahal.

Roman Reigns, still aggravated about his losses at WrestleMania and Greatest Royal Rumble, had another opportunity to win a championship shot.

Zayn and Balor joined forces early to eliminate The Big Dog, destroying him at the tech desks before resuming the rest of the match inside the ring. Eventually, to the crowds disapproval, Reigns was able to get back to his feet and join his fellow superstars inside the ring.

For a moment, it seemed as though Roman Reigns was going to overcome the adversity and win the match. However, Reigns was gearing up for a Spear before Mahal reappeared at ringside and tripped his current nemesis into a Helluva Kick from Zayn. Zayn then fell perfectly into place for Balor to deliver a Missile Dropkick and ultimately a Coup de Grace to get the pinfall victory.

The leader of Balor Club joins Braun Strowman as a certainty in the ladder match on June 17.

Rating - 8/10

It was a good match with logical booking. Finn has been overlooked in the Intercontinental Championship feud and needed a big win to reignite his momentum. Sami Zayn will be angry that he was unable to take his opportunity to insert himself into the ladder match but there will undoubtedly be another chance to win the contract. Roman Reigns will be furious that he lost this match, especially as he was not pinned. He may have beaten Samoa Joe at Backlash, it seems as though he is back to square one again.
