The Golden State Warriors will compete in the Western Conference Finals for the fourth consecutive year after overcoming the New Orleans Pelicans in five games.Tuesday night's 113-104 victory at Oracle Arena sealed their passage as they move another step closer to securing back-to-back championships.Their All-Star quartet proved to be the difference with outstanding displays on the night as they combined for 94 points.Stephen Curry led the way with 28 points as Kevin Durant added 24 and Klay Thompson finished with 23.Draymond Green flirted with a triple-double as he put up 19 points, 14 rebounds and nine assists. The power forward was influential for the Warriors throughout the series and this was illustrated by the record-breaking numbers he put up over the five games.By posting 14.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 10.0 assists per game against the Pelicans, the Defensive Player of the Year became the first player in franchise history to average a triple-double for an entire playoff series.

The Dubs' Swiss Army Knife once again showed he can be effective in all facets of the game and he drew high praise from head coach Steve Kerr.

"The guy has huge energy, amazing defence, incredible basketball intellect. He's a future Hall of Famer," Kerr said, per Bleacher Report. "He's right in his prime right now, but this guy is the perfect modern-day NBA big.

"He can guard everybody, he can step out and make threes, he can handle the ball in transition. This is what the NBA has become, and you have to have somebody like Draymond to have a good team. So, we're lucky to have him."

With all the talent they have in the Bay Area, Green is arguably the most important player on the roster with his ability to play multiple positions and his versatile skill set.

The defending champions will need him at his absolute best for their eagerly anticipated blockbuster showdown with the Houston Rockets in the conference finals.

The two teams have been on a collision course all season as this matchup looked almost inevitable.

After Rockets general manager Daryl Morey claimed that they have an "obsession" with beating the Warriors, Draymond is ready to see if they're up to the test.

"They have made it known that their team is built to beat us," Green said, per ESPN's Chris Haynes. "Obviously, you want to build your team to beat the defending champs because that's usually how you have to go to win a championship. So, all understandable.

"That stuff has been said for about a year now. It's time to play."

The mouthwatering heavyweight series will begin on Monday night in Houston and it promises to be an absolute classic.
