Manchester United's 0-0 draw at West Ham perfectly summed up why fans are keen for the Premier League season to come to an end.

The fixture at the London Stadium was as 'end of season' as it gets, with both sides having zero to play for in the league.

United had the better of the chances, with Adrian being forced into making six saves, but the entertainment value was still incredibly low.

Arguably the best moment of the night was the handbags between Mark Noble and Paul Pogba, with the former appearing to claw at the latter's face.

Amazingly, no one was sent off.

However, there was another moment from the game that gave fans quite a bit of joy on Twitter and it involved Phil Jones.

The England international has quite a funny reputation due to his knack of pulling ridiculous faces and he took his comedy act to another level vs West Ham.

While contesting a ball with Marko Arnautovic near the touchline, Jones was forced off the pitch and proceeded to trip over the turf.

It almost looks as if it was choreographed.

With the whole of Twitter having a little giggle at Jones, it was only a matter of time before one of his teammates picked up on it.

But no one expected it to be Mr. Nice Juan Mata, with the Spaniard posting it on his official Instagram.

Jones really is the gift that keeps on giving.

Despite his hilarious fall, Jones turned in another solid performance in a back-three alongside Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof.

He will likely start in the FA Cup final vs Chelsea, with Eric Bailly still on the periphery of the first-team, while his place in England's World Cup squad is virtually assured.

We may even be treated to some more comedic gold from him in Russia...
