Kane on what The Undertaker told him during his campaign trail

The Undertaker and Kane are known as The Brothers Of Destruction on WWE TV with their characters, but behind-the-scenes in real life the pair are great friends.

Taker and Kane worked together in the late 90s on one of the best feuds in WWE history. Kane was introduced as Undertaker's brother in the storyline, as he was masked due to storyline burns suffered from a fire The Undertaker started as a child.

The pair would battle it out on WWE TV before rekindling their brotherly bond and teaming up to form The Brothers Of Destruction and run rampant on the tag team division of WWE.

Fast forward 20 years later and both Undertaker and Kane are winding down in their in-ring careers. Kane, especially, has ventured off into other business and is beginning his life after wrestling.

Kane, real name Glenn Jacobs, has begun his career as a United States politician and has been running for mayor of his hometown of Knox County, Tennessee.

The Big Red Machine has been using his WWE platform to help push his campaign and is pulling out all the stops to do so.

One campaign fundraising event featured Kane and The Undertaker reuniting for photo ops and autographs with fans.

Weeks later it seems that Kane's campaigning has paid off as he won the Republican primary and will now challenge the Democratic winner for the job of mayor.

Kane recently did an interview with Sports Illustrated and discussed his new career as a politician.

He also revealed some great advice he received from The Undertaker, who he notes has been a great role model for him over the years (quotes via Cageside Seats):

“Within the world of WWE, Kane and the Undertaker are the Brothers of Destruction, and ’Taker was even willing to share some advice along the campaign trail.

“His advice was to work hard and stay true to what I believe,” said Jacobs.

“He was always a great role model of mine. Night in and night out, he gave everything he could for the audience. That’s what I have always done in wrestling.”

What are your thoughts on the advise Undertaker gave Kane for his mayoral campaign? Do you think that we'll ever see the pair team up on WWE TV again? And do you think Kane will become the mayor of Knox County? Let us know your thoughts on the matter in the comments section below!
