Premier League clubs have some of the best facilities in the world - and are always trying to attract the next big thing.

The top sides have scouts all over the world, hoping to unearth the next Lionel Messi.

A strong scouting network can end up saving Premier League clubs millions of pounds in transfer fees.

Chelsea have invested heavily in signing Europe's finest teenage talents over the last decade - but they've struggled to bring them into the senior team.

Regardless, the Blues have made a huge profit on the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Kevin De Bruyne and Bertrand Traore in recent years.

Chelsea might be about to miss out on the next big talent coming out of western Europe.

Their Premier League rivals are all circling as his 16th birthday approaches.

Feyenoord wonderkid

Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal have all made offers to a 15-year-old Dutch defender, as per The Guardian.

Melayro Bogarde, nephew of Chelsea flop Winston Bogarde, has attracted attention from a host of Premier League clubs.

The Guardian report that Man United, Man City and Arsenal are all at an advanced stage of negotiations.

Liverpool and Chelsea are also monitoring the youngster - but are yet to open negotiations like their three Premier League rivals.

Bogarde was able to begin negotiating a contract abroad after turning 15-and-a-half. He can sign a contract when he turns 16 on May 28.

United’s Dutch scout Henny de Regt - who watched Tahith Chong before his move from Feyenoord to Old Trafford - has been monitoring Bogarde all season.

Chong ,18, recently won the Jimmy Murphy Youth Team Player of the Year award.

"I think it's the dream of everyone in this room to play in the first team," he said. "But obviously we're still focused. We're still working hard to get there. That's the dream."

According to The Guardian, Bogarde is 'expected to choose the club he believes will offer the best chance of him progressing to the first team.'

The Feyenoord starlet will be able to sign a contract in just over two weeks.
